I-T searches at bullion/jeweler premises in three areas of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Income Tax department today carried out searches at around 8 jewelers/bullion traders located in Ahmdabad city’s Manekchawk, Navrangpura and Satellite areas possibly in connection with post demonetization transactions. K.K. Jewelers, Devshibhai Chudawala, Parker Bullion, Virendrabhai Wholesale, Ashapuri Jewellers, Ashapuri Jewelers are identified as firms that attracted Income Tax searches today. Some other bullion traders and jewelers choose to shut down the business for today.
