October 17, 2017
By Mayank Shah, Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and State BJP president Jitu Vaghani today in a press conference at State party headquarters Kamalam in Gandhinagar asked Congress vice presidnt Rahul Gandhi to react to Times Now news channel report on Gandhi – Nehru family’s son-in-law Robert Vadra’s connections with arm dealer.
Rupani said the news report has revealed Robert Vadra’s activities of arms dealing and money laundering.
Rupani said, Robert Vadra’s tickets worth Rs 7.36 lakh were purchased by Bhandari? Why Vadra had gone to Switzerland in connection with Jet trainer deal? Why Vadra’s bungalow in London was renovated by other person by spending Rs 21 crore?
Rs 7.5 lakh amount from Swiss bank account of Bhandari reached Robert Vadra’s account. Why Rahul doesn’t give explanation on this?
Vadra has given statement that he doesn’t know Sanjay Bhandari. The question is, why Bhandari spent for tickets of Vadra? Bhandari faces allegations of arms dealing and money laundering.
Rupani said a trail of emails has revealed the facts in this case.
Rupani asked why Rahul Gandhi who always posts tweets on various subjects is silent on this issue? Why Congress leaders who are always ready to give bytes to news channels are silent for last twenty four hours?
Rupani said Vadra should reveal the details of purpose of his tours to various foreign destinations, ticket for which was purchased by Bhandari.
