Solanki, Gehlot rush to Delhi to meet high-command, participate in Screening Committee meeting

Ahmedabad:
A day after the Gujarat visit of Congress vice presidnet Rahul Gandhi, senior party leaders from the state including party in-charge and former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and state president Bharatsinh Solanki today rushed to New Delhi to meet the high-command and participate in crucial meeting of screening committee led by former Maharashtra Minister Balasaheb Thorat.
A party leader said that tickets for several seats were likely to be finalized today.
He said that the other issues like the ones related to Hardik Patel and Jignesh Mewani, from whom the party has sought support for the Gujarat election, would also be discussed during a meeting with high command.
Issues like possibility of some kind of tie up with NCP and other parties and associates and seat sharing formula would also come up.
