19592 schools given internet connection: Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today said it has given internet connection to 19,592 schools across the State.
Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in reply to question in the assembly today said as on 31st December 2017, as many as 19,592 schools are given internet connection. The state government has spent Rs 1525.26 lakh fo this in last two years, he added.
He said the state government is doing all possible to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of Digital India successful.
