Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu to be merged

New Delhi: After bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir, the Narendra Modi led government in the Centre is learnt to have decided to unify the union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, V Murlidharan today said the ‘Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (Merger of Union Territories) bill, 2019’ will be placed in the business of the house next week.
