New Delhi: Congress party’s leader in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury today attacked PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the proposed pan-India National Register of Citizens (NRC).
Chowdhury called Modi and Shah ‘ghuspethiye’ or infiltrators.
“Hindustan sab ke liye hai, ye Hindustan kisi ki jageer hai kya? Sabka samaan adhikaar hai. Amit Shah ji, Narendra Modi ji aap khud ghuspetiye hain. Ghar aapka Gujarat, agaye Dilli, aap khud migrant hain. (India is for everyone and it is not any individual’s personal property. Everybody has equal rights on it. Amit Shah, Narendra Modi, it is you who are infiltrators. Your home is in Gujarat and you came to Delhi, you yourself are migrants),” the Congress Behrampur MP told news agency ANI.
