Tremor of 3.4 intensity felt in Gir Somnath district and areas around in Gujarat

Rajkot: A tremor of 3.4 intensity on Richter scale was felt in and around Gir Somnath district in Gujarat this afternoon.
According to the Institute of Seismological Research, Gandhinagar the tremor was felt at 0435pm and had its epicenter at 10km East SouthEast (ESE) of Talala in Gir Somnath district in Saurashtra region of the state.
Though people at several places in Talala came out their houses due to the jolt yet so far no reports of any loss to life or damage to property have come to fore.
