ACB Gujarat nabs Jail Assistant in Rs. 41,000 bribe case

Sabarmati: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed one Piyush Dineshbhai Nibark, a Jail Assistant working at Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad on March 19 for allegedly seeking and receiving Rs. 41,000 bribe for not to harass certain prisoners.

ACB has recovered Rs. 41,000 bribe received by accused during trap, arranged by ACB PI KP Taretiya.

A complainant in this case is a woman whose husband, two sons and son-in-law are imprisoned in Sabarmati Central Jail. Bribe was demanded by accused Jail Assistant Piyush Nimark from complainant woman for not putting the accused in high-security zone of jail and not harass them inside the prison. DeshGujarat
