Highest ever, 1640 fresh cases of Covid19 in a day in Gujarat; active cases 7,847

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 1640 fresh cases of covid19 in a day as per the latest daily bulletin of the State health department. It’s the highest daily Covid-19 tally for Gujarat during the pandemic. Earlier high was 1,607 on November 27, 2020

The State witnessed 1110 recoveries in a day  along with 4 deaths – 2 each in the city of Ahmedabad and Surat. The State has 7,847 active cases. As many as 32.74 lakh persons have been administered the first dose of Covid19 vaccine while over 6 lakh persons have been given the first and second both doses. 2.22 lakh persons were vaccinated today.

Ahmedabad city continued to top with 481 fresh cases followed by Surat city with 429 fresh case. Vadodara and Rajkot cities recorded 139 and 126 fresh covid cases respectively.

If we compare to previous year. It was a black dark tunnel then. World was clueless. Medical wards globally were like laboratories and patients subjects. Two things as a observation
1) Mutant Strains are not as lethal as their Maternal Strains
2) Very Prescribed and Efficient Treatment Protocols
