Active cases continue to slide; recoveries further improve in Ahmedabad

Sabarmati: The gap between fresh cases and recoveries has further widened in the city as per the latest daily bulletin by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC). On 6 May, 3,884 new cases were reported in the city against recoveries in 5,103 cases. A day ago on 5 May, there were 4,174 new cases and 5,049 recoveries. The number of active cases in the city has come down from 66,956 a day ago on 5 May to 65,721 on 6 May. On 4 May there were 67,853 active cases in the city, 4,693 new cases and 4,608 recoveries.
