Two arrested in Jamnagar GG hospital sexual abuse case

Jamnagar: Jamnagar B-Division Police has arrested two accused L.B. Prajapati and Akbar Ali in the case of alleged sexual abuse at government run GG Hospital in Jamnagar on Tuesday, 22nd June 2021. LB Prajapati is medical attendant supervisor while Akbar Ali works in HR.
The offence was registered against the accused under IPC Section 354, 354A, 354B, 509 and 114 considering the complain of the victim. Both the accused were allegedly involved in sexual harassing the victims who worked as female attendants at the hospital as per the FIR.
The complaint was registered after SIT (Special Investigation Team) investigation of one week. Both accused were discontinued from their duty in the hospital and further actions are to be taken against them. DeshGujarat
