Two Delta Plus variant cases in Gujarat, confirms Health department

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat health department confirmed two cases of Covid-19’s Delta-plus variant in the state. One of the patients is a 27-year-old man from Surat who had tested positive in April, and the other is a 38-year-old woman from Vadodara who had also tested positive in April. She had returned from her native Jalgaon in May. Both are healthy, said the department officials, adding that they have started surveillance in both the cities.
