Underground subway to be constructed for smooth access to Sola Civil hospital

Ahmedabad: Underground Subway will be constructed outside Sola Civil Hospital which will reduce extra 2 km distance to reach the hospital for the ease of ambulances, doctors and auto-rickshaws.

State government had recently requested Central government to provide a grant for constructing a underground subway outside Sola civil hospital. Thereafter, Minister for Road, Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari have approved a grant of Rs 4.67 crores for this project and the construction work will be started soon.

The underground subway is going to be constructed considering the traffic and other barriers faced by the ambulances, doctors and rickshaw-drivers to reach at the hospital. The underground subway will ease this issue and facilitate ease and speed of transportation. DeshGujarat
