ACB Gujarat nabs GST assistant in bribe case through decoy trap

Junagadh: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has nabbed a tax assistant of CGST division office in Junagadh in a bribe-case of Rs 2000.

Junagadh ACB had confidentially received the information that the officers and employees of the Central GST division office, Junagadh stop the goods vehicles of traders and point out various errors to seek and accept bribes.

To verify the information, ACB planned a decoy trap with help of a decoyer. The accused tax assistant Kishorbhai Rajabhai Panara was found accepting a bribe of Rs 2000 for releasing the goods truck of the decoyer during the trap executed by ACB. DeshGujarat
