ACB Gujarat nabs Cooperation officer and staffer in bribe case

Palanpur: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed cooperation officer of money-lending and a junior clerk of cooperation officer’s office in Palanpur in a bribe case of Rs 20 thousand.

The complainant had applied to get a lisence of money-lending to Palanpur cooperation officer (money lending) office. The accused cooperation officer Jayrambhai Mulabhai Barot anf junior clerk Vikas Ashokbhai Karan had demanded a bribe of Rs 20 thousand from the complainant to do the process of issuing money lending lisence.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay bribe. Both accused were found taking a bribe of Rs 20 thousand during a trap executed by ACB. Both accused are detained. DeshGujarat
