Former minister served show cause notice by Gujarat BJP chief

Gandhinagar: CR Patil after becoming the State party chief mandated a party whip for contesting cooperative elections for party members. Revolting against this, former minister Arvind Raiyani and his aides Nitin Dhankecha, Babu Nasit, and Mansukh Sardhara continued to challenge Patil’s decision on appointments in Rajkot Lodhika Sangh. These party men are now served show cause notices by the State party chief. They are asked to give a reply in seven days. Patil had given the whip to Narendrasinh Jadeja to continue on the post of Chairman. Raiyani who was not given a ticket to recontest the State assembly election last year had challenged this decision.
