AAP Gujarat vice president quits party
September 05, 2023
Gandhinagar: Gujarat unit Vice President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Arjun Rathwa, resigned from his post and party membership today. Rathwa had contested the assembly election last year from the Chhota Udaipur constituency but lost to the BJP candidate.
Rathwa stated – If a party does not engage in introspection after losing the Gujarat election, what will it do in the future? The necessary political seriousness was lacking in the party, and despite my efforts, no progress was achieved. Therefore, I am resigning with a heavy heart.”
Rathwa added – I will decide on my future plans after discussing with them, but I have not yet made a decision about joining another party. DeshGujarat
