Banchhanidhi Pani takes over as Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: IAS officer Banchhanidhi Pani on Monday officially assumed the role of Municipal Commissioner of Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) following recent administrative transfers. An experienced IAS officer, Pani has previously served as the Municipal Commissioner in Surat, Bhavnagar, and Rajkot.
On his first day in office, Pani held a meeting with senior AMC officials to review ongoing initiatives. He also assessed the city’s cleanliness efforts and emphasized the need to maintain high sanitation standards.
