DGP Gujarat instructs all Police units to ensure helmet compliance from Feb 11

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Director General of Police (DGP) Vikas Sahay has announced that all police units in the state have been instructed to ensure strict adherence to traffic rules, particularly the mandatory helmet requirement, starting February 11.
In a tweet posted on the microblogging platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), DGP Gujarat emphasized the importance of government servants setting an example as responsible citizens. He stated, “All government servants of Gujarat, as responsible citizens of the state, are expected to be role models for others…. Take a pledge today to follow traffic rules, especially wearing helmets.”
