Jamnagar: In yet another death due to the stray cattle menace, a senior citizen lost her life after a stray cow gored her in the stomach. The elderly woman was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her serious injuries the next day.
The incident took place near Hariya School last week, where 65-year-old Shobhanaben Solanki was passing by in the evening. At that moment, a stray cow suddenly attacked, ramming its horn into Shobhanaben’s stomach and flinging her into the air. The woman collapsed on the road and was rushed to the hospital by bystanders, but she succumbed to her injuries the next day.
The issue of stray cattle roaming the streets has persisted in Jamnagar for a long time. Despite numerous public complaints, residents remain frustrated as the problem remains unresolved. DeshGujarat
