AMTS to run 93 buses on BRTS corridors from May 8

Ahmedabad: 93 buses on 9 routes of Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) buses will run through the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) Janmarg dedicated corridors from 8 May 2025.
According to AMTS, the buses on routes numbered 28, 28 shuttle, 49/2, 56, 56/1, 58, 75, 75 shuttle, 96, 128, 128 shuttle, and 150 will pass through dedicated BRTS routes, and passengers will board and deboard the bus at BRTS stations.
No change has been made in ticket rates, and the concession rate pass and free pass system will also remain as they are. According to AMTS, the passengers will get faster bus service, and AMTS and BRTS interconnectivity will be better. This initiative will also reduce the burden on traffic on roads.
The buses that are going to run through BRTS lanes are Meghaninagar-Lambhagam 28, Sarangpur-Indiranagar 28 shuttle, Nirant chokdi metro station to Gujarat University 49/2, Sitarambapa chok to Antriksha colony 56, Sardar Party plot to Gujarat University 56/1, Maninagar terminus to Chandkheda Sarthi bungalows 75 and 75 shuttle, Civil hospital to Vatva railway station 96, NIga society to Naroda 128 and 128 shuttle, and Sarkhejgam to Chinubhai nagar.
These buses will partially use BRTS dedicated lanes and BRTS stations. DeshGujarat
