September 20, 2025
Anand: The dairy sector giant Amul today announced its revised price list of 700+ products, offering the full benefit of GST reduction to its customers, effective 22nd September 2025, the date the revised GST rates come into effect.
This revision spans a range of product categories, including Butter, Ghee, UHT milk, Ice-cream, Cheese, Paneer, Chocolates, Bakery items, Frozen dairy and potato snacks, Condensed milk, Peanut spread, Malt-based drinks, etc.
Amul also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making nutrition more accessible and affordable for the nation.
“As a cooperative owned by 36 lakh farmers, Amul believes the reduction in prices will spur consumption of a wide range of dairy products, particularly Ice cream, Cheese, and Butter, as per capita consumption remains very low in India, creating a large growth opportunity. The reduction in GST will help increase Amul’s share of consumer revenue to the producer in a much larger way, benefiting both producers and consumers, a press release said.
Through this initiative, Amul continues to strengthen its legacy of serving consumers while sustaining the growth and welfare of farmers, ensuring that quality, affordability, and trust remain at the forefront of its operations.
Amul has already taken steps to communicate the price changes to its trade partners, including Distributors, Amul Parlours, and retailers across India. The entire revised price list is available at https://gst.amul.com. DeshGujarat
