Porbandar, DeshGujarat, 6 December, 2009
Members of Akhil Bharatiya Anusuchit Janjati Arakshan Manch have submitted a memorandum to the Collector of Porbandar district protesting Christian Missionaries religious conversion activities that are going on in the district.
According to Manch’s district morcha President Babubhai Pandavadara and General Secretary Shankarbhai Vadher, the missionaries target poor and backward class people and lure them to covert their religion by promising money and other benefits which should be stopped.

The christians convert (read subvert) hindus is because Jesus has commanded them to do so. The bible simply proves this. Mark 16:16 says “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
By implanting the fear of eternal dammination and the end of the world, the christians move on in our sacred land of Bhaarath subverting and perverting our innocent clear headed people. This is in fact banned according to our IPC codes.
This are no ordinary Christians.
If they are foreigners, they need special missionary Visa. The local Authorities must ask them for visa not for going to India but for Missionary Work.
Most of them have lied about their work and described it as Voluntary Group helping children or some poor people.
If you find they have converted some one then declare them persona non grata and throw them out by endorsing on the pass port.
You dont have to go to foreign office, Just stamp deported in the pass port and put them on the first plane.
Or jail if they have not left.
Many of the missionary come to India For sexual gratification.
Church sex files ‘should stay closed’
BBC.NEWS
Archbishop Nichols believes sections of the BBC are “hostile”
A Roman Catholic Archbishop has said there is no reason to reopen the Church’s files on sexual abuse for independent investigation.
The Archbishop of Birmingham, the Most Reverend Vincent Nichols, was responding to calls made in the Kenyon Confronts programme, broadcast on BBC One on Wednesday night.
He said he was “profoundly sorry” for the damage done by the Church, but said its files should remain private.
Archbishop Nichols, who recently criticised sections of the BBC as “hostile” towards the Roman Catholic Church, said the programme should not have been shown on the eve of the silver jubilee of Pope John Paul II.
New cases
He said: “I appreciate the damage that is done by childhood sexual abuse and the hurt that remains long after those events.
“I have personally met all but one of those mentioned in this programme. I am profoundly sorry for the injuries caused by Catholic priests.”
But he added: “This programme also called for the Catholic Church’s files on child sexual abuse to be opened to independent scrutiny.
“The programme implied that this would reveal very large numbers of new cases and new victims of child sex abuse.
Police request
“The facts are that the files of the Archdiocese of Birmingham back to the 1950s were thoroughly inspected three years ago in order to make sure that there are no hidden cases.
“Files have been opened to the police on request.”
The programme found more than half of Catholic priests surveyed said they thought the Church had dealt inadequately with alleged abuse by priests.
An ICM poll also found three-quarters of priests surveyed said their training had not prepared them for dealing with urges of child sex abuse.
Just over half those questioned said they trusted the Church to take care of problems with its own clergy.
The Archbishop, who is chairman of the Catholic Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults, recently said the Church still has “a lot to learn” about dealing with child sex abuse allegations.
This is just a baseless allegation against people who help poor and needy. Jesus is the answer to the suffering world who all ways showed compassion towards the poor in the society. Those people who raises questions against the kind of help these missionaries does towards the society cannot do the same nor they will not allow the people to do it. It is better those to know the reality and respond to the society’s need than pointing out to some one who does good work in the society…May God help them to open their inner eyes and do the right.
Religious conversions in India is not new. Mughal Emperors did it at the edge of the sword and now Christian Missionaries are doing it with help of money. Any institution or person can file complaints against these missionaries but it is difficult to catch them and prevent these conversions. I think several solid steps are required to prevent this menace of conversions.
First and foremost, rather than just filing complaints with the police, people in the area need to be aware and need to be motivated to take actions against these missionaries or whoever is carrying on religious conversions. Media can play a big role in motivating the people about these issue. If the media really wants, they can carry out sting operations against these missionaries and bring the true motive of these missionaries in front of the world. That would be a real constructive journalism rather than just involved in all hypes and hooplas.
Once they bring out their true motive, people in the area itself as well as people away from the area would be really motivated to protest this nuisance because seeing something like this on camera is more effective than just hearing or reading the news and it would reach people’s minds quickly. Moreover, we all know that religious conversions happen but it has never been caught on camera. In today’s world, when seeing is believing, this would really help.
Also once this kind of sting operation is carried out, even the local government would be obliged to take some solid actions against this.
These days, judgments are delivered prematurely in every case by media by way of running parallel kangaroo courts and holding discussions. Why not take advantage of the same thing for this issue?
All these can become very important because according to Indian Penal Code, these kind of religious conversions are illegal. When someone can prove these recordings as an evidence in the courts, these missionaries would be on the back foot and legal actions may be taken against them. That would be a legal aspect of beating these conversationalists.
Another, important aspect where they have to be beaten is the socioeconomic aspect. We can beat them legally but it is really important that people who are lured with money to convert their faith are on our side and stay on our side. If people who are changing their faith are not on our side, then the legal victory is useless because somehow the missionaries and the people will find a way out to deal with each other by finding a loophole in the legal system.
The way it can be brought in is just taking the way of missionaries. If missionaries are trying to lure them with money and asking them to change their faith, the government and the concerned local institutions as well as the people must come forward and provide these people with jobs, proper housing, education, health and transport facilities and ask them to continue believe in their faith.
Development must come and come fast in these areas because you can’t really blame the poor people who are changing their faith for money. They are deprived of even basic facilities and the reason why they are ready to convert is not because that they believe in Christianity but because they need to have money to run their family and survive.
The math is simple. If missionaries give them money, housing, clothes, education etc. then they will go on their side. If Government does the same thing what missionaries are doing and in addition, provide them with jobs, they will not convert. This is the way to win the hearts of those people.
Simultaneously, amend the law and announce tough punishments for those who convert and even tougher punishments for those who are trying to convert people. All these measures will hopefully help to tackle this menace.
But again, it is really important to fight these missionaries simultaneously on the legal and more importantly the socioeconomic aspect otherwise we would just end up putting missionaries on back foot and punishing poor people for conversion. We need to identify the real problem which is poverty, lack of development and the state of those poor people who are deprived of the basic facilities and that is the core issue to be taken care off. All the other pieces of this jigsaw puzzle will fall in place once this issue has been resolved.
P.S.:- This is a huge issue for us a society and as a nation. We must make sure not to involve any political party in to this neither we should allow any party to take undue political advantage if this situation.
Thanks,
Jai Hind
@ Sam
I understand your point but this is not just about helping poor and needy. No body is against the missionaries doing the good work of helping the poor and needy but when those missionaries try to convert the people to Christianity, then it becomes the problem.
Now you can put an argument that it is the right of a human being to follow whatever faith he or she believes in and no one has got any problem with it. However, you have to think that is it morally justifiable for those missionaries to promote and convert people and change their faith by obliging them in a way of financial and social help?
Would you like it if a Hindu Priest or a Muslim Maulvi try to brainwash you or expect you to change your faith because he is providing you financial or social support? Would you convert to Hinduism or Islam in that case? You would probably not, right? That is the same argument here.
Helping poor and needy with clear intentions of serving the society is absolutely fine but it is the hidden agenda under those activities which is opposed here. I think I would still oppose it if Hindu Priests are doing the same thing in a Christian or Muslim dominated area or Muslim Imams are doing the same thing in a Christian or Hindu dominated area.
The opposition is not against Christians or Christian Missionaries. The protest is against these kind of religious conversions where financial or social perks are involved. I agree that missionaries are also doing good work by helping poor and needy and I am not taking anything away from them and that is why I have written in my argument above about the socioeconomic aspect. Government is supposed to do these thing what the missionaries are doing now.
So please try to think and understand. Try to put yourself in their shoes and then think about Hindu Priests or Muslim Maulvis trying to convert you to their faith. Wouldn’t that be unacceptable to you? You would not give up your Christian faith under those circumstances, would you?
Comments are welcome.
Reliegious conversion should be stopeed and missionaries doing/encouraging these should be exported back to their home countries.
In India British missionaries started with the Nagas in North East. That area is now totally xtian. They then got YSR elected in AP. It is belieed that temple land and money was taken to be given to missionaries. Do you believe that the arms drop in Bengal by the British was for Anand margees?? It was probably for Naxals/maoists who killed Swami Laximidananda. So it has gone down to the level of killing Hindus to achieve the goals.
If you do research, you will find there is enough evidence that for over 60 years,in the United Kingdom past News Papers, that shows concern that right wing British businessmen were sending arms and money to converted rebels, in India and ex Army officers are sent as missinaries to guide rebels. I have met one such person who openly admitted that Christian Missionaries have
decimated some cultures and people, done more harm then good.
In the West no body goes to Church. Nor do they like to be called Christians.
As Mr Karzie reminded west this week American and British promoted Mujaheeds against USSR and India.
It is a shame that people in power in india know that Khalistanis and Mujahiddens were trained in Scotland and American money was channeled to Khalistanis. Dont ask for American and British apology.
And tell them to stop sending Arms to Rebels.

To all of us (Hindu):
We must do our soul searching and ask ourself why people convert? If any one consider me as untouchable, because I born in poor family who does cleaning the street for living I will raise and not wait for a second to convert my self and family!!!!!!!!! I aways thanks God that Britisher came to India and introduce their education system. If I am Christian then my Hindu friend can take me in temple. But if I am Hind HARIJAN then I am not able to enter in the temple, I have to DARSHAN from out side of the Temple. We must learn to accept other in our community, for example I have friend who is married with a Muslim girl so he should not be treated as Muslim!
FIRST OF ALL PASS THE RESOLUTION THAT IF SOME BODY CONVERT TO CHRISTIAN,THE NAME OF THAT PERSON ALSO CHANGE ,BECAUSE NOW MISSIONARY PLAYING GAME IN INDIA,THEY TEACH TO CONVERT PEOPLE DONT CHANGE YOUR NAME,IDENTITY,EXAMPLE THE NAME OF CONVERTED HINDU IS RAMESH ,THE MISSIONARY SAY DONT CHANGE YOUR NAME AND SURNAME,SO OTHER HINDU CANNOT DIFFERIETIATE EASILY, THE BIG EXAMPLE Y.S.RAJSHEKAR REDDY,ALMOST ALL EDUCATED HINDU DONT KNOW HE IS CONVERTED,SO MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT THAT WHO IS CONVERTED,THEY MUST CHANGE THEIR NAME AND SURNAME LIKE PETER KHRISTE,JOHN MCWAN,SAMUAL DAVID,SO EVERY HINDU CAN IDENTIFIED,I ALSO REQUEST GOG,AS WELL AS HINDU MISSIONARY WATCH ON SPECIALLY AREA LIKE DANG,DHARAMPUR,NARMADA,TAPI,CHOTAUDAIPUR,DAHOD,SABARKANTHA,BK.IF WE NOT WAKEUP EARLY THIS PEOPLE WORK FOR MISSIONARY, ,NAXALITES,NAGALAND,MIZORAM,THEY FORGET THEIR IDENTITY,
ALSO THEY ARE USING HINDU LANGUAGE ,SO THEY CAN CONVERT POOR PEOPLE VERY EASILY,EXAMPLE PRABHU (JESUS),ISHWAR,KHRISTIE BHAJAN,KHRISTIE GARBA,SO POOR PEOPLE CANNOT DIFFERITATE BETWEEN PRABHU SHRIRAM, AND PRABHU JESUS,THEY (MISSIONARY) CONVERT PEOPLE BY THREE WAY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL,CHRISTIAN FOOD BANK,FREE CHRISTIAN MEDICAL CENTRE,POOR PEOPLE OR EVEN REACH PEOPLE THESR ARE THREE BASIC REQUIREMENTS,FOOD,SCHOOL,HOSPITAL,SO IF HINDU PEOPLE WANT TO STOP THE CONVERSION OUR DHRAMAGUR WANTS TO GO IN POOR PEOPLE,HELP THEM,GIVE RIGHTS TO ENTER IN MANDIR,GIVE THEM FREE EDUCATION,FOR THAT HINDU MUST BE UNITE FIRST LIKE.SWARNA+HARIJAN+VANWASI.
@jayesh, you are right..
my comment would be such that it may offend many.
I would only say that we hindus waste our energy on building temples and kathas instead of reaching these poor people who get converted…. jay shree krishna…..
The first printing presses were started by Christian missionaries in India. They wanted to enslave the heathen Hindus. All kinds of Propaganda was used. British have left 60 Years ago. But not only they have kept a hold on Indian Press, but under Antonia Raj it has been greatly facilitated.
Today they can say that they effect the outcome of elections in India.
And able to influence India.
During Yugoslovekia dismemberment they engineered the fall of BJP government through Antonia Mieno.

Fraudulent conversion of minor girls: Brazilian missionary in dock
Siddheshwar Shukla | Faridabad
Without knowledge of parents, he adopts schoolkids
A Brazilian missionary has been accused of religious conversion of schoolchildren by fraudulently means at Faridabad in Haryana. The affidavit submitted by Dimas De Souza, the founder-trustee of Comademat Charitable Trust, in a Delhi court clearly mentions that the children have been adopted by him, a fact which he had concealed from their parents. Further, De Souza got the minor girls belonging to poor families admitted to convent schools and showed himself as father of all the over a dozen children ‘adopted’ by him.
The parents of the children told The Pioneer that they were unaware of their children being adopted by the missionary. They, instead, said that the missionary had promised them to return their children after their studies (Class XII) in the best of schools in Faridabad. Records collected by the police reveal that all children were given Christian names; De Souza as their father and their permanent addresses have also been replaced with the address of the hostel run by the missionary.
The parents of two rescued girls, Anila and Soni, denied that they had agreed to give away their children for adoption. “He has not given me any document. However, he asked me to sign on some papers which were in English,” said Suresh Paswan, who resides in Mandi village and hails from Madhubani in Bihar. “They changed their hostel from Green Field Colony to Sector 21-D but did not inform us. His mobile phone is also switched off. We have to take the help of media and police to know whereabouts of our girls,” added Paswan. The girls were rescued on Tuesday last after police intervention.
Anila, daughter of Suresh Paswan who was studying in Nigam Kanya Vidyalaya, Fatehpur Beri in Delhi, was rechristened as Mary in the Angel’s Public School, Sector 21A in Faridabad. According to the school records, her parents withdrew her from Nigam School on July 28, 2008.
The De Souza’s affidavit, which was executed on February 11, 2008, says, “I have decided to adopt the following children of the school on permanent basis and all their educational expenses, including school fee, books, eatables, dress etc will be borne by me as long as they are studying in the school.” The affidavit also mentions the Christian names of twelve children adopted by De Souza on that date. The girls are: Meenu (12), Lia (12), Rahel (15), Sara (8), Pricila (9), Ester (10), Noemy (15), Ruth (9) and Rebecca (8). The parents of these children reside in Mandi village and hail from backward districts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab and Odisha. Presently 15 minor girls are residing in the missionary hostel at 134, Sector 21-D under the jurisdiction of NIT police post of Faridabad.
In another agreement signed by De Souza on October 23 this year with the owner of the bungalow 134, Sector 21-D, Jaisi Ram Asthana, the founder trustee declares: “I am taking this house on rent for providing accommodation for orphans and poor children of Indian origin, about 10 in number.” The trust has been registered with an aim to provide health, education and home to destitute, needy and orphans without any discrimination of race, nationality, caste or creed, age and sex.
When told that there are records to show that Anila has been renamed as Mary, Darshanlal Malik, Assistant Police Commissioner of NIT Faridabad, said, “Anila was renamed as Mary.” Malik is the investigative officer of the case. “The children residing in the hostel do not want to go with their parents as they are getting better life and education,” added Mallik.
Another parent Pitamber, in his police statement, said, “I had send my daughter on my own to the hostel for better life and education. They have promised that they will return my daughter after completing studies and allow me to meet her every six months.” Pitamber too is not aware about the adoption of her daughter Shivani, who is now renamed Damris (5).
When The Pioneer visited the hostel, there were two Christian women in their mid-twenties to take care of the children — Aneilus from Nagaland and Renu from Punjab. “We do not know the admission procedure of the hostel. We are paid employees and reside here to look after the children of the trust,” said Aneilus. She refused to talk as soon as she came to know that we are from media. “You talk to the police,” she added and shut the door. De Souza is in Brazil owing to some medical complications and so could not be contacted. He is scheduled to return India in February 2010.
The neighbours smell something fishy in the hostel. “Why did they adopt girls only? The parents who have sent their girls here have boys also. They took the girls to the Church for two days a week, generally on Friday and Saturday for over three hours,” said Jogendra Singh Saini, resident of 135, Sector 21-D.
.Why blame Churches harvesting heathen Sauls.
Look at Taliban and Wahabis Mullahs.
They even hurt Muslim children by brain washing them.
If your son ends up in Pakistan he will be introduced to The Wahabi/Salafi heaven, before he
is sent to blow himself.
PESHAWAR: An artificial paradise (Jannat) established by terrorists for brainwashing would-be suicide bombers has been captured by security forces in South Waziristan Agency.
Dawn: Pakistan News Paper.
The ‘Jannat’ in the Nawaz Kot area was shown to a visiting team of Peshawar-based journalists by ISPR authorities.
The journalists, who were taken to the place in a helicopter on Friday morning, took a round of the so-called paradise and later were briefed about the modus operandi for churning out suicide bombers.
The make-believe heaven consisted of four rooms. Each room contained exquisite paintings of lakes overflowing with milk and honey and scenic valleys inhabited by ‘hoors’ (beautiful women).
Religious teachers in the training centre used to show would-be bombers around and dupe them into believing that after their death in suicide attacks their stature would be equal to Sahaba-i-Karaam and that they would enjoy the company of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The term ‘Sahaba-i-Karaam’ refers to close associates of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Boys aged between 12 and 18 were trained to become suicide bombers under the supervision of Hakimullah Mehsud.
The TTP chief would keep hammering away at ‘an unending bliss awaiting you in Jannat dotted with lakes of milk and honey’, said Major Saleem in a briefing for journalists.
He told journalists the building also had a ‘slaughterhouse’ for killing kidnapped security officials. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was seized from there.
In reply to a question, Major Saleem said the security forces faced tough resistance before capturing the militant stronghold. Two bombers and their trainers were taken into custody.
The troops came upon a significant quantity of hashish and compact discs after they set about securing the building. Books and magazines in Arabic, Pushto and Uzbek languages were strewn all over the place.
Later the visiting journalists were taken to Makin and Ziarsar area of Spin Kamar.
Colonel Asif Mehmud, the operation commander, told the journalists that Makin was believed to be the hub of Taliban and the forces overcame stiff resistance before its fall.
Makin harboured a training centre that was run by Baitullah Mehsud when he used to live nearby in the house of his uncle. The forces had taken all hilltops and purged the area of militants, Colonel Mehmud said.
Anti-tank mines, rockets, missiles and other weapons of foreign make were shown to the visiting journalists.—APP
