Shahrukh Khan to launch K Sera Sera’s new Miniplex in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad will get one more multiplex. Coming up in S.G.Highway’s Gallops mall, this new multiplex will be inaugurated by none other but Shahrukh Khan on 27th January.
According to CEO of K Sera Sera, Sanjay Gupta, “Our two-screen miniplex will screen digitized version of films in a high-tech way relayed from Mumbai based control room through satellite beam via servers that would receive the transmission. The new technology at Ahmedabad multiplex is being introduced for the first time in India. Thanks to this technology, the movie goers will enjoy a high-definition picture quality close to 2K resolution on 1,920 x 1,080 – screen similar to that of a Blue Ray DVD. This technology, common in the US and some other countries will cut down distribution costs.”
Main features of concept of Miniplex are following according to Gupta:
* Provides 100% Multiplex feel with 50% ticket cost.
* Operational cost per seat is 60% lower.
* Efficient programming for uninterrupted supply of films on regular basis.
* Maximum utilization of infrastructure and resources by introducing interactive e-learning programming.
* In house integration, as K Sera Sera is one of the leading production & distribution house.
* Multi cuisine food courts, which shall enhance the Miniplex experience.
