Wild leopard enters a house, 3 injured, finally locked inside
Ahmedabad, 3 January, 2011
A wild leopard today morning entered into a house and injured three persons in a village in north Gujarat.
The wild animal first attacked a woman who was working in the field. When woman escaped, ran and entered into a house nearby, the leopard followed her throughout and also entered into the house.
The house owner successfully pulled his children out of the house and locked the house from outside.
Those injured are taken to government hospital in Deesa.
District officials and forest department staff arrived in the village to help the villagers.
A team from Gandhinagar is on the way to reach Malgadh to catch and transfer the animal safely.
