Why Arjun Modhwadia’s latest blog post was in discussion?

Ahmedabad, 28 April, 2012
Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia’s blog was in discussion today on Twitter, thanks to an alert Modi follower who spotted a photo of an East African malnourished child, described as Gujarat’s malnourished child by Modhwadia.
Modhwadia in his blog post on malnutrition in Gujarat, placed a photograph of mother lifting a malnourished child. Modhwadia described the photograph in photo-line as ‘ – craving ….. A part of childhood in Gujarat.’
Twitter pal Samir Rathod from Vadodara (@viratbharat) while going through the blog post found that malnourished child shown in photograph was not from Gujarat, but from East African country, and the photograph actually belongs to UNICEF website, where it is clearly mentioned that the child is from East Africa.
This could be a goof up of Modhwadia’s IT team, but Modhwadia himself was in discussion for wrong reason on Twitter for this mistake, as it was his blog post.
Updates
The African child’s photo and a photo-line both removed from the blog post at around 4.30 pm. It is nice decision. In online world, one can correct the blunders and one should.
