Restless and very hard working Gujarat Congress is these days exploring the tribal belt of east Gujarat to spread its message.

In this heat of the month of May, Congress leaders are rushing to villages of tribal belt to address the public meetings, and to meet the local party workers.

Presented above is the speech of Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia at Chikhli village. It is interesting to watch what issues he takes to tribals in run up to the assembly election.

Once upon a time, Gujarat’s entire tribal belt was dominated by Congress party in all elections, but lately the BJP has entered and successfully captured part of tribal belt.

Tribals are 15% of Gujarat’s total population.
