NHAI floats Rs 1456 crore global tender for Dwarka-Gadu coastal highway

National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has floated global tender for estimated Rs 1456 crore four lane development work of 210-long km Dwarka-Gadu coastal highway 8E(from km 263.000 to km 473.000). Gadu is located next to Chorwad which is 40 km away from Somnath.
The project will be held under Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Design, Built, Finance, Operate and Transfer (Toll) mode.
According to available details, a new road between Jamnagar district’s Dwarka and Junagadh district’s Gadu will be constructed. The route of the coastal highway covers Dwarka, Harisiddh Mataji, Porbandar, Madhavpur Ghed.
