Gujarat Assembly passes Gujarat Primary Education(Amendment) Bill 2015

Gujarat Assembly today passed Gujarat Prathmik Shikshan(Sudhara) Vidheyak 2015.
As per the amendment, the tenure of Chairman and Vice Chairman of School Board will be 2.5 years now instead of existing rule of 5 years. However, Chairman/Deputy Chairman will continue to hold office post their tenure till new Chairman/Deputy Chairman are elected.
