Sulking Congress MLA from Rajkot Indranil Rajyaguru has taken a decision to remain inactive during the upcoming general elections of Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC).
Indranil took this decision after his meeting with the state party president Bharatsinh Solanki in presence of new city Congress president Kunvarji Bavalia.
Rajyguru said he himself had proposed Kunvarjibhai’s name for the post of city Congress president. However even after his appointment the politics of clash didn’t end.
“As I was tired of this, I decided to remain inactive during upcoming polls. However I would mobilize my all supporters to ensure Congress’s victory,” he added.
It should be mentioned here that Congress party in Rajkot city is witnessing clash between MLA(Rajyaguru) group and city organization group for last few months. The party changed city president recently, but infighting hasn’t stopped.
