Speaking after today’s proceeding in Delhi High Court in National Herald case, BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy who is petitioner in this case told media persons that accused Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and others were put in a corner to stand(like regular accused) and not allowed to sit.
“My wife was there. I was there. We were sitting. First came Ahmed Patel. He exchanged greetings and went to back row. And then lawyers came, ofcourse they are very friendly, and then Mrs Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi came and they were put in a corner where the accused are supposed to stand. They were not allowed to sit. Except Motilal Vora who is 87 or 88. He was allowed to sit on seeking permission to sit. I thought they will not take bail, which is what they have been announcing, but they produced ready-made bail application and they put it before the Judge and then the Judge said who is going to stand for surity,” Swamy told media persons.
