RIL to set up Polytechnic on PPP mode in Devbhumi Dwarka: GoG

Replying a question asked by Khambhaliya MLA Meraman Ahir, Minister of State for Education Smt Vasuben Trivedi in assembly said that Devbhumi Dwarka district will have a polytechnic in Public Private Partnership(PPP) model.
She said Reliance Industries has been allotted land for proposed polytechnic as per the rules decided by AICCT New Delhi at Re 1 token rate on 30 years lease.
She said the polytechnic will start functioning after construction is over for its building.
She said the company will bear operating cost to run the college and fee will be lower than self-financed colleges.
