ACB Gujarat nabs another Talati for taking bribe

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police has nabbed another Talati for taking a bribe. The accused Talati Mantri of Ambali gram panchayat who is also in an additional charge of Umalla Seja, Dankheda gram panchayat in district Vadodara was held taking Rs. 11,000 bribe.

The complainant in this case had applied for Pedhinamu to prepare Varsai of the land. The accused demanded Rs. 15,000 bribe initially and later settled at Rs. 11,000. As the complainant was not willing to pay bribe, he contacted ACB following which, a trap was arranged and the accused Talati was nabbed after he took bribe. DeshGujarat
