Shah reviewed projects in his Lok Sabha constituency

Gandhinagar: Union Home minister and Gandhinagar Lok Sabha member Amitbhai Shah today convened a high-level meeting in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and MoS Home Harsh Sanghavi and reviewed various projects in his constituency.

Shah stressed on the plantation of trees on the national highway and asked the NHAI and the State government to coordinate it. Shah also watched a presentation on preparations going on for Ahmeadbad’s bid to host the year 2036 Olympics. Shah asked AMC (Amdavad Municipal Corporation) and the Sports department of the State government to prepare a design for residential and other infrastructure facilities for the sports persons in addition to the facilities available at Sardar Patel Sports Enclave.

Shah also received details on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, redevelopment of Sabarmati railway station, the facilities and services available at GIFT city. He called for redevelopment of ponds in Ahmeadbad city, interlinking and surplus flood water supply from Narmada via pipeline to Sola, Khraj and Kali based ponds. Shah also reviewed the progress of Naranpura Sports Complex and Sabarmati Riverfront development project. Shah held a meeting with district collectors and DDOs of Ahmeadbad and Gandhinagar, civil supply administration, and rural development agencies.
