Mumbai Rains Disrupt Western Railway Operations; Several Gujarat-Bound Trains Cancelled, Delayed

Mumbai: Heavy waterlogging on the Western Railway network between Vasai Road, Nallasopara, Saphale, and Kelve Road stations today has severely disrupted train operations, forcing the railway authorities to reschedule, cancel, and short-terminate several Mail, Express, and passenger trains, many of which pass through Gujarat.

Western Railway said multiple long-distance trains departing from Bandra Terminus, Mumbai Central, and Dadar have been rescheduled due to the disruption.

Among the major trains rescheduled are 12471 Bandra Terminus–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express, 22451 Bandra Terminus–Chandigarh Express, 22915 Bandra Terminus–Hisar Express, 12925 Bandra Terminus–Amritsar Junction Express, 19217 Bandra Terminus–Veraval Express, 12953 Mumbai Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Express, 19015 Dadar–Porbandar Saurashtra Express, and 14708 Dadar–Hanumangarh Express.
