Ambaji Temple Revises Aarti, Darshan Timings From July 16

Ambaji: In key news for lakhs of devotees visiting the famous Ambaji Temple in Gujarat, the Ambaji Temple Devasthan Trust has announced a revised schedule for Maa Amba’s aarti and darshan, which will come into effect from July 16 (Ashadh Sud Bij).

The new timetable has been introduced to ensure smoother crowd management and allow devotees from across the country and abroad to have darshan without inconvenience.

Under the revised schedule, the morning aarti will continue to be held from 7 am to 8 am, after which devotees will be allowed to have darshan from 8 am to 11.30 am. Rajbhog will be offered to the deity at 12 noon.

One of the key changes is that, unlike the earlier practice when the temple remained closed to devotees after Rajbhog, darshan will now resume from 12.30 pm and continue until 4.30 pm, allowing pilgrims to visit the temple during the afternoon as well.

In the evening, aarti will be held from 7 pm to 7.30 pm, followed by darshan for devotees from 7.30 pm to 9 pm. The temple gates will remain open until 9 pm, giving visitors arriving from distant places additional time for darshan.

According to the Temple Trust, the revised schedule is aimed at improving the overall pilgrimage experience by reducing inconvenience, ensuring better crowd management, and enabling devotees to have peaceful darshan for longer hours. DeshGujarat
