In the photograph is Vadnagar’s Kirti Toran monument in north Gujarat. Kirti Toran is a medieval Gujarat’s type of architecture that was used as a gate to welcome people. Vadnagar has two such Kirti Torans. One Kirti Toran was re-established in year 2007. Is should be noted that Vadnagar’s Kirti Toran was used as a symbol of Gujarat state in 60s,70s and 80s decades by government of Gujarat.
