Modi announces Rs 50 crore development plan,airstrip for Dwarka

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday dedicated Rs 1.25 crore golden throne to Lord Dwarkadhish(Shri Krishna) in Gujarat’s Dwarka. On this occasion he announced Rs 50 crore master plan for development of Dwarka. Mr. Modi announced allotment of 222 hector government land in Dwarka for development of independent airstrip here. He expressed his commitment to develop Dwarka-Air Port through PPP model.
In his address, Modi talked in detail about government of Gujarat’s proposed development plan for Dwarka temple campus, Panchkui island and Sudama setu which will connect Samudranarayan temple and Gomtighat.
When media persons asked Modi about Dwarka’s security in present circumstances, Modi replied “It is Dwarkanath who secures Dwarka.”
Modi felicitated BJP’s Kankarej MLA Babubhai Rabari who donated Rs 1.25 crore for Lord Dwarkadhish’s Golden throne and grand entrance on Dhirubhai Ambani road. Modi paid a visit to the Shankaracharya peeth in Dwarka.
