When all of Gujarat’s theaters and multiplexes had taken a united stand on not showing Aamir Khan’s film Fanaa protesting his stand on Narmada Project, Jamnagar’s Congress MP Vikram Madam released Fanaa in his theater. One Brahmin Gujarat-lover-youth protested Madam’s act by self immolation and died. Fanaa’s producer Yash Chopra ensured exit of Fanaa from Madam’s theater immediately after this, but Madama didn’t apologize for his act. This Congress man Madam should loose. Will he loose, or win?

How many women MPs Gujarat will give this election? Kutch BJP candidate Punam Jat may win due to BJP’s strong organization in Kutch, but what about BJP’s Mehsana candidate Jayshriben Patel? Local BJP unit was not happy with her candidature. BJP almost made a clean sweep in Mehsana in assembly elections. Congress’s strong segment Kalol went to Gandhinagar seat after delimitation. Thus it seems a tough fight for sitting Congress MP Jivabhai Patel. However Jivabhai has spent huge bucks during campaign. Let’s talk about another woman candidate, Prabha Taviyad who is contesting on Dahod seat from Congress. Prabha lost last election by less than 400 votes margin. Though Rajkot is rock-solid BJP bastion, his rival Congress candidate is strong and there has been tough fight. BJP’s Ahmedabad candidate Dr.Kirit Solanki was another surprise name. Kiranbhai or Kiritbhai have not fought even a Panchayat election. Kutch’s Punamben Jat(Kutch), Mansukhbhai Khachariya(Porbandar), Rameshbhai Mundhra(Jamnagar), Ritesh Vasava(Bardoli), Dhirubhai Patel(Valsad) are all surprise candidates. Shall they work?

Has Aamir Khan apologized for his act on Narmada Statement?
Answer: NO, He has refused and even offered to Mr. Yash Chopra, the producer, to pay all loss made in Gujarat because of his stand on the issue.
Does Mr. L.K. Advani represent Gujarat in the Parliament?
Answer: YES, He DOES. So, He should also be interested in Gujarat welfare.
Did Mr. Advani go to watch the movie “Taren Zameen Par” in special show?
Answer: YES, He DID and not just watched but praised also.
My point is to convey message to politicians and reporters like J.P.
If Vikram Madam should have apologized then Mr. Advani should also.
I firmly believe that Aamir Khan was not wrong at all.
Jay Hind, Jay Gujarat, Jay Narmada Maiya
Amir Khan may not be wrong as far as bringing the issue of rehabilitation is concerned, but he was definitely wrong when he used platform that opposes Narmada project. He should not have joined hands with enemy of Gujarat, Narmada Bachavo Andolan. Its a well known fact that this organisation’s only purpose is to stop Gujarat having advantage of agricultural development.
It was a fitting reply from Gujarat to all those who wants to create problems for Gujarat’s development.
Jai Garvi Gujarat.
MR CHAGAN PATEL I GIVE U ANSWERS OF YOUR QUESTION:1) RAM MANDIR BANAVU HOY TO BJP NI275 SEATS AAVI JOE ,KARAN RAMMANDIR BJP NA AGENDA MA CHEY.2)SWISS BANK MATHI RS PACHA LAVANU,100 DIVAS MA MUSHKIL CHE PAN GOOD EFFORTS THI 1 YEAR MA LAVASE,RS MALTA HOY TYA 100 DIVAS NA JOVANA HOY PRACTICAL SITUTATION JOVANI HOY.3)MOGHVARI AND UNEMPLOYMENT RELATIVELY SITUATION CHE,A BANE ISSUE MA NDA UPA KARTA GHANI SARICHEY,(VAJPAYEE RULE),KARNAWATI NAM MAY 2010 SUDHI MA THAI JASE.AFZAL GURU NE FANSI MALI JASE AS EARL AS POSSIBLE.HAVE KETLI TAKSE E TO POLITICAL SITUATION KAHI SAKSE,ATLE BHAI SAMJO NATIOANL PARTY NE VOTE APO JETHI BJP 272 NI MAGIC FIGUR PER POHCHE,THANX GUJARAT MA ONLY TWO PARTIES CONGRESS AND BJP CHEY ATLE ALLRIGHT CHALE CHEY
I agree with Chagan Patel. People should start asking these questions to all political parties. Though I do not agree with all his points. If you look from larger perspective, what is the use of changing the name Ahmedabad? Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has become a big issue. It is fine if a Mandir is built there. But people should start asking –
• When more hospitals will be built in rural areas?
• When and how many good school/colleges will be built?
• How much employment opportunities will be available in rural India so that pressure on cities can be reduced?
• When will be sufficient steps be taken to preserve environment?
• When will population and corruption be controlled?
• When infrastructure will be improved?
• When will be Zero tolerance to terrorism?
I know Namo is taking good steps towards all these. But what about rest of BJP? Just to come to the power if they think of taking support of SP and JaiLalita, do you think it will be able to take any positive steps?
Jai Ho/Bhay Ho

Over the years, our great politicians instead of playing down the religion and caste have brought it to the forefront. If one was to go to the first parliament elections, the campaigns and the election talks must have been very different.
Some times its the unknown candidate who brings in the caste to get votes, some times its the party and some times just the circumstances leading people to it. Many times it may be that every one wants to have a say and feel that they could have more say if the elected official was from their caste etc and they could say to policeman on duty, ”JANTA NAHIN MAIN KAUN HUN……”
