The city of Ahmedabad is all set to host the Ahmedabad International Film Festival 2009 in which, award winning films from across the world will be screened.

The festival that has been organized by Fulmarxx and Savvy on June 25,26,27 and 28 at city’s Wide Angle Multiplex. The festival will showcase 4 world premieres, 242 short films, 32 feature films from 29 countries in 19 languages.

Mohsen Makhmalbad, a legendary Iranian filmmaker is Chairman of Jury, vetern filmmaker Govind Nihalani is Chairman of Jury(short films), senior journalist Vinod Dua is jury member. Eminent film producer Vipul Shah will be honorary guest. Actor, producer, director Tom Alter, Russian film producer Alina Rizvanova, senior film editor Sreekar Prasad, Berlin International Film festival’s Dorothee Wenner, actor Paresh Raval, Nandana Sen Manisha Koirala, Pavan Malhotra etc. will be participating in the festival.
