AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi came with an idea of conducting organisational elections for Youth Congress higher ranks in Gujarat because he wanted to change the Youth Congress. But nothing much changed. Most of the elected office bearers of Youth Congress in Gujarat unit are actually the same old faces.

A group of Youth Congress workers today morning rushed to the BJP district headquarter located at Ahmedabad’s S.G Highway and broke the window glasses. Rahulbaba’s Youth Congress stars also locked the BJP office and fled away within a minute. This destructive act was performed to demand resignation of the Chief Minister and the Minister of state for Home, over 110 illicit liquor deaths in Ahmedabad.

Throughout this ‘wonderful, sensible, creative, constructive, scientific and admirable’ act, stars of Youth Congress continued shouting ‘Youth Congress Zindabad.’

A day before in Ahmedabad, Youth Congress workers had pelted stones on local transport buses. One BRTS bus on trial run was also targeted.
