Tragic incident strikes humorist Tarak Mehta

Tarak Mehta’s books released by the Chief Minister early this year in Ahmedabad
Gujarat’s one of the best known humorist, Chitralekha magazine’s columnist and writer of popular SAB TV serial ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ 80-year old Tarak Mehta’s first wife 75-year-old Ila Doshi committed suicide by jumping from the window of her 7th-floor Paradise apartment in Ambawadi area at 3:30 am on Monday.
Tarak Mehta and Ila were separated about 30 years ago. However Mehta and his second wife Indu(75) stay on the second floor of the same building. Both Ilaben and Induben had attended Tarak Mehta’s last book release function together in Ahmedabad’s Town Hall.
