7-year-old swine flu positive girl dies in Gujarat’s Vadodara

A seven-year-old swine flu positive girl died in Vadodara at Sayaji hospital died today at 12:30 pm on Tuesday.
Her body was taken to Karelibag cremation facility directly from the hospital. She was immediately cremated in a gas furnace there.
Doctors and relatives were present during the cremation, wearing masks.
Victim girl from Akota area in Vadodara was brought for treatment at Sayaji hospital on August 7 according to the health minister Jaynarayan Vyas. “The girl had been under ventilation in the hospital for the past two days after being brought for treatment on Aug 7. The girl had no history of how she contracted the virus. she was a resident of Vadodara and had not traveled abroad,” said Vyas.
The girl is second victim of swine flu in Gujarat and 10th in India.
