With heavy rains in the catchment area in Madhya Pradesh, state’s biggest Narmada Dam began overflowing today.

The overflowing started in two blocks initially, but at around 7pm the whole dam was overflowing.

It is for the first time that the Narmada dam is overflowing with its water level at 121.93 mt.

In past, the dam used to overflow in the month of August. But this year due to its new increased height, the dam is overflowing in the month of September for the first time.
