Four IPS officers transferred in Gujarat

The Gujarat government today transferred four senior IPS officials of IG rank in the state.
As per the transfer orders issued by the state home department, STSC cell IG P C Thakur will take charge as IG (jails) in place of H P Singh, who has been given the charge of Communication.
Principal of police training college (PTC) S G Bhati has been made Coastal Security and Intelligence Bureau IG, while Joint Commissioner of Police (special branch, Ahmedabad) G S Mallik has been transferred and posted as Vadodara ACP.
