In one of the Garib Kalyan Mela speeches, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said he would now write a letter to the Centre in ‘Italian’ to make it act to rein in food prices.
“I have written a number of letters to Central Government on the issue of price rise. I have written letters in the language they can understand urging them to take steps to do something about the rising prices of food items. But, I think that they have no sympathy for the poor people and it seems that they are not willing to take steps to control rising prices. Now, I need to write a letter in Italian,” Modi said in his Patan speech.
Reacting strongly to Modi’s remarks, Congress spokesperson Manish Tewari said, “Narendra Modi has lost it.Only Modi can make such a preposterous statement. I cannot possibly dignify such a statement with a reaction.”

Even I am tired of writing to you again and again, again and again for preventing our pure Mother rivers from becoming toxic gutters. The common man of the villages are pleading for arresting the deterioration of Mother rivers. But, You are yet to prevent the prostitution of our sacred Mother rivers of Gujarat from turning them into gutters by very same ruthless western companies who denied you a visa. I have even written to you in Gujarati but your Government does not seem to be understand the gravity. Our dangerous poisonous levels of water is killing more poor people and killing our agriculture.
While I am a great admirer of your style of politics and your uprightness and for standing up to the western mafia and Muslim rioters, I feel really ashamed to see our Mother rivers of Vande Gujarat being raped mercilessly by the criminal polluting industries management and their partners in corrupt district administration.
You are still carrying the same goondaraj SRP Kangressi mindless policy of inviting all kinds of banned polluting criminals from around the world and ruining our basic quality of clean air, water and human values in your so-called golden corridor from Ankleshwar to Vapi.
The UPA has failed India, I hope that Sangh Parivar and RSS volunteers in particular government will not fail our Hindutva livelihood of revering our sacred environment. Even spittting into Mother rivers is banned in Hinduism, but your government is allowing all kinds of worst waste dumped into clean Mother rivers. Please do your duty.

Congressis are taking too much literal meaning of Modi’s comments. All Indians including Congressis know that Sonia Gandhi is the supremo of the Congress Party. No major decision is taken without her permission and whatever she says become the gospel truth and every Congressi has to follow her order whether they like it or not.
Congressis needs to get the meaning from Modi’s comments. Despite of all the letters Modi wrote, if Congressis are not doing anything for price rise then Modi said, he would write them in Italian (means to Sonia Gandhi so she would take some decision which Congressis have to follow) so that at least something would happen to control the price rise.
If Congressis are so angry at Modi’s comments, they should reply in a better way. Control the price rise and help the poor of this country. That would be the best answer to Modi’s comments. Manish Tiwari and Congress is calling Modi uncivilized but then why are the Congressis are involving themselves in verbal fight with Modi? Just give him a quick an effective answer, control the price rise and that is it.
But they would never do that. Modi has just reminded them that the increasing prices of essential commodities is taking toll on the poor of this country, whether it is in civilized or uncivilized manner is a matter of perception. Truth is always bitter, Manish Tiwari.
