Gujarat police has guns but no bullets to fire: MOS Home

“Gujarat police has guns but no bullets to fire from it,” Minister of State for Home Amit Shah told the Assembly today, lamenting that several of its key demands relating to police modernisation were “turned down” by the Centre.
“We have been asking for bullets for our police force since last the three years but got nothing,” Shah said during discussion on ‘Modernisation of Police Fund (MPF)’ raised by BJP MLA Nanu Vanani from Surat (North).
“The situation is such that we do not have enough bullets for our policemen to practice. We have guns but no bullets to fire from it. The centre tells us to practice once every three year instead of every year due to lack of bullets, how strange” he said.
Gujarat is high on terror radar and it had witnessed serial blasts in July 2008, in which 57 people were killed.
The minister also lamented the fact that the Union government has reduced allocation under MPF from Rs 119.53- crore in 2000-01 to Rs 49.

Sounds like the repeat of the Indo-China war where the goondaraj Kangressi Nehru was napping while our Jawans were compelled to fight with stones and sticks against an well equipped enemy. This is an eyewash and fooling people, as a result India is not speaking from a position of strength but appearing as weak and meek to the western diktats, succumbing in every international forum, the latest being the ghastly attack after attack in Kabul by the naPak porks.
This UPA goondaraj Kangress does not believe in peace, it appears hell bent on bleeding and sacrificing the lives of our people in complete defiance of principles of Ahimsa laid down by Mahatma and Sardar. It is more interested in attacking Hinduism from inside out by fanning 1984 style anti-Hindu pogroms in which only Hindus died. or by colluding with the Moaists in AP, or partnering with ULFA in Assam, or supporting the unconstitutional Governers in opposition states. For proof look at Goa how the shameless Kangressi netas are openly running a rape mayhem through a corrupt prosecution, or in Maharastra how the Kangressi goondaraj openly allowing the MNS dogs to beat up and injure innocent people on the streets. There is only one answer solution as practiced in all-round progress of Gujarat: Jaya Shree Raam!

Detained Jaish man tells plane hijack story

Detained Billal, a suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) operative, has admitted that he made a safe passage for several militants, who were involved in 1999 Indian plane hijacking, to India from Bangladesh.
“Nannu Mia alias Belal Mandal alias Billal told us during interrogation that he helped enter such 12-13 militants to India from Bangladesh. He knows one Abdur Rahman among them,” said an interrogator who quizzed Billal at the Task Force for Interrogation (TFI) cell.
In December 1999, militants hijacked the Delhi-bound Indian Airlines plane (flight number-814) after it took off from Kathmandu. They forced the aircraft to land in Kandahar of the then Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
Rab arrested Rezwan Ahmed, a Pakistani national, Abu Naser Munshi, Imad Uddin alias Munna and Sadeque Hossain alias Khoka from a flat in Sukanya Tower near Dhaka College on Sunday while Billal from Gausia Market area.
Four local militant suspects–Billal, Naser, Munna and Khoka–were produced before a Dhaka court on Thursday on completion of their three-day remand. Motlubur Rahman, investigation officer (IO) of the case filed against them, told the court that the four are the members of banned militant organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh and have links with Pakistan based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
IO Motlubur, also SI of New Market Police Station, pleaded the court to confine the four to jail for further quizzing.
Billal also said he got introduced with Rezwan around seven to eight months back through another Pakistani national and suspected JeM militant Zawad.
“And he (Billal) again started working for Jaish-e-Mohammed for the last three months and have already received Tk 60,000 from Rezwan,” said the investigator.
Rezwan who is still being quizzed at the TFI cell said he used to get the money from Zawad.
Billal also said that Zawad was known to him for quite a long time and he talked to Zawad in Pakistan around 100 times over his cellphone, said the interrogator.
Billal earlier told journalists that he was involved in hijacking the Indian plane while Pakistani national Rezwan admitted to have coordinate JeM activities in Bangladesh along with the three other suspected militants.( BangaPaper to day)
