The Patriarch of Educational Township Dr. C.L.Patel honored

In Vallabh Vidhyanagar, today, Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi gave a call to promote educational and research activities, which are aimed to enhance the security of our country. Sardar Patel pledged his entire life for the cause of national security. To realise the dream cherished by Sardar Patel, the educational township of Vallabh Vidhyanagar ought to take up courses that can hone engineering skills among students to manufacture advance weapons.
Pursuing excellence with vision and integrity, Platinum Jubilee of the patriarch of Charutar Vidhya Mandal is being celebrated with great fanfare and joy. Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi felicitated Dr. C.L Patel at a special function held at Shashtri Medan- Vallabh Vidhya Nagar. A special corpus to the tune of Rs. 1.51 Crores was dedicated to him for future educational projects.
On this occasion, donation of Rs.25 Lakh poured in to Chief Ministers Girl Child Educational Fund.
It is the real joy for the teacher, that his student flourish and branches off, Shri Viththalbhai Patel, who is also teacher of Dr. C.L. Patel was present at the ceremony. Chief Minister took special notice of his presence with pride and dignity. Under the leadership of Dr. C.L.Patel, dream for progress and advance educational development has come true. Chief Minister appreciated his commitment and dedication, Dr C.L.Patel always strived to promote innovations, taking up various projects to enhance the knowledge domain. A farmer faces all the hardship to get good harvest. Likewise, under his leadership, CVM embarked upon various educational projects, which stands testimony to his dedication and brilliance. Chief Minister was full of praise, as the Golden Jubilee of Gujarat glitters with such legends.
Chief Minister described the 21st Century, as the century of Knowledge. He envisioned Indias eminence, our youth armed with knowledge of science and technology, it is quite possible.
Chief Minister traced recent achievements in technical education. Gujarat could create multifold rise in the seats of technical-education, previously there were only 13000 seats in technical-education, which rose to 86000. Our universities offer excellent learning facilities of global-standards; he claimed that such facilities are available at 14 Universities of the State. He highlighted the major shift in the perception, in the coming decades; Gujarat would create eminence of technology. Gujarat has already taken concrete initiatives in this regard, added C.M.
Chief Minister dwelt upon the innovative knowledge initiatives taken by Gujarat. Gujarat has taken visionary initiatives by starting Technology University, Gujarat Knowledge society, with the objectivity of value- addition and skill-development. In the present era, India is in straight competition with China.
Chief Minister also highlighted the major development strides in agriculture, industries and various other sectors. He claimed that the State owned GSPC has carved out a special niche by its outstanding performances. Gujarat is marching ahead to become Petro- Capital of our country. He laid special emphasis on manufacturing weapons, and defence equipments.
Dr C. L. Patel expressed his deep conviction in good and ethical conduct. He gave detail summary of the development of Educational Township, with Rural Background. He also highlighted various philanthropic initiatives taken by CVM. On the platinum jubilee occasion, he was presented a corpus of Rs. 1.51 Crores for future projects. Vice Chancellor, Sardar Patel University, Dr. B.G. Patel read out the citation.
C.M.D, L&T Shri A.M. Nayak joined other eminent dignitaries in expressing gratitude towards Dr. C.L.Patel.
Inspired by the read Gujarat Mission, Collector Anand, Shri R.N.Joshi had presented the book- Becoming Indian: Authored By: Pavan K.Verma.
Eminent Industrialists, Shri Devang Patel, Mukeshbhai, and many other dignitaries, with thousands of people attended the ceremony. It needs special mention that hundreds of people from abroad had come to just to attend the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations.
