Shatrughan Sinha wants Narendra Modi to campaign in Bihar
Patna, 21 August, 2010

BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha on Saturday said there was high demand for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and young BJP leader Varun Gandhi among party workers and leaders in Bihar, who will be contesting elections in October this year.
“I personally want Modi and Varun to come to Bihar for campaigning in the upcoming assembly polls. But it is for the party central leadership to invite them,” Sinha told reporters on Saturday.
Sinha’s support for Modi comes four days after senior BJP leader and state Cooperatives Minister Giriraj Singh, a vocal supporter of Hindutva, announced he would want Narendra Modi to campaign in his constituency if he contests in the upcoming assembly elections.
Earlier BJP’s Prabhari of Bihar unit Shri Ananth Kumar had also stated he would like to invite Narendra Modi to Bihar for election campaign in assembly polls.
