The government of Gujarat has appointed CID Crime DIG Shri B.S.Jebalia as state level nodal officer to deal with complaints about misuse of SMS during the election of Kathlal assembly seat.

Similarly DySP J.R.Diwan has been appointed as Kheda district nodal officer for SMS related complains.

Nodal officers will have to perform duty on instruction of Election Commissioner, and will have to deal with misuse of SMS, by filing complaints when necessary. Common public would be able to contact the nodal officers regarding misuse of SMS during the election season.
